What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Finance Director position at The Eastern Iowa Airport?
Assists the Director of Finance in preparation of the Airports Operating and Capital Improvement budgets, Lease and Concession Agreements; and financial and administrative operations at the airport. Develops, manages, and maintains technical accounting, database, and IT systems, including financial and operational rate modeling, reporting and analysis; performs related work as required. Responsible for financial documents related to budget, project, grant, general ledger, and rate models. Oversees the work of the Accounting Manager and Finance Operations Specialist. Schedule Monday-Friday 8 AM-4:30 PM. Salary starting at $42.66-$45.26/hour DOQ.
Graduation from an accredited college or university of recognized standing with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a closely related field; and Considerable experience in governmental accounting; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
