Job Title: Delivery Driver
- Reporting To: General Manager
- Average Weekly Hours: 15-25 hours per week
- Schedule: Depart Solon promptly at 6:30am; delivery pastries to various locations including North Liberty, Tiffin, Coralville and Iowa City; return empty pastry bins to Solon
- Available Hours: 6:30-9:30am, Monday through Saturday
Purpose of Position
The Delivery Driver a responsible and dependable person who brings fresh pastries from our Solon Bakery to multiple locations throughout the Eastern Iowa Corridor.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Arrive at pickup location at assigned time
- Verify with Manager on Duty: Items to be delivered; delivery time; delivery addresses
- Carefully place bakery items in your vehicle to ensure they do not tip or fall thus damaging the product
- Upon arrival at delivery locations: Ensure you are delivering the right products to the right location; Greet customer with a friendly smile; Leave products in customer designated areas
- Return any Eat Shop bins or containers to the designated Eat Shop location at the end of your shift or at another prearranged time with the Manager on Duty
Work Experience and Requirements
- Valid driver’s license, car insurance and a clean driving record
- Clean vehicle free from pet hair and other possible contaminants
- Excellent work ethic, attention to detail, and punctual
- Ability to safely travel in all weather conditions including rain, snow, wind, ice and extreme temperatures.
Language Skills
- Must be able to speak, read and write English
- Must be able to communicate to coworkers in a clear, concise and professional manner

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
