Maintenance Director

We are a Nursing facility located in Irving Texas we have a beautiful facility, and we have a rare opening for maintenance Director we are looking for someone who is knowledgeable in minor repair and maintenance for structural, electrical, plumbing, security and heating and cooling systems. Job Title: Maintenance Director

Salary: 45-55k

Schedule: Full Time

Duties:

· Coordinates with contractors and venders making sure insurance and licenses are current

· Conducts regular inspections of all Life Safety Systems including fire extinguishers, sprinkler, and alarm systems

· Maintains inventory control for all general supplies, parts and equipment

· Manage the department within budgetary guidelines tracking inventory usage and ordering supplies when necessary

· Understands and implements the role of the department's safety and disaster plan

Qualifications:

· 2-year(s) experience in a supervisory capacity, in a maintenance/plant related position

· Must be knowledgeable of boilers, compressors, generators, etc., as well as various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems

· Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints

· Must be knowledgeable in building codes and safety regulations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
