Accounting Manager
Bellefontaine, OH
Our client, a leading global automotive manufacturer, is seeking an Accounting Manager for their Bellefontaine facility. Onsite daily, this professional will manage a team of 9 AR & AP Specialists in a centralized Shared Service Center supporting multiple sites.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coach the specialists to help resolve vendor and customer inquiries.
- Manage and monitor the timely processing of invoices to customers using KPIs.
- Assist with SAP processes to ensure transitions accurately and efficiently.
- Review and reconcile supplier statements, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Reconcile cash and related accounts to general ledger.
- Liaise with suppliers and customers ensuring timely responses.
- Ensure team AP and AR teams follow internal policy, procedures and accounting principles.
- Support internal and external auditors with accurate reports and responses to inquiries.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred, or equivalent experience
- 3 years managing and coaching a team
- 5 years relevant experience in AR & AP
- SAP highly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel
