FP&A Senior Analyst

Our client, a large automotive supplier based in Farmington Hills, MI, has a new opportunity for an FP&A Senior Analyst. This position will provide financial and business analysis support for use in making decisions critical to the success of the business.

This role will report directly to the Director, FP&A and will work closely with the leadership team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Budgeting, Forecasting, Management Reporting and Sales Analysis processes for the North America region.
• Drive FP&A’s function to a more proactive approach, with an emphasis on development, monitoring and interpretation of predictive metrics and insightful financial analysis to help drive increased business intelligence and improved decision making.
• Support the leadership teams and develop analysis to lead change.
• Must have ability to influence others with conclusions of the financial analysis so the business can attain the targeted objectives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Accounting or Finance required, MBA a plus
• Minimum of seven years' experience in financial analysis and complex modeling in a manufacturing company
• Minimum of three years of accounting or financial related experience with product cost knowledge in a manufacturing environment (experience with standard product costing a plus)
• Ability to analyze complex information, draw logical conclusions about business implications and identify actions
• Strong knowledge of management reporting practices and accounting rules
• Expert skills in MS Excel
• Strong skills with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and other applicable accounting and financial software
• Experience working with Power BI a plus
