Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and personable Part-Time Customer Service Associate/Front Desk. This role is ideal for a college student pursuing a degree in Sports Management or a related field, offering valuable experience in a sports-centric environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in customers as they arrive at the facility.
- Process payments and manage customer transactions including: maintaining an organized cash register and ensure it balances at the end of each shift.
- Schedule lessons, camps, and clinics efficiently.
- Promote and sell memberships and services to potential customers.
- Assist in inventory management, including restocking shelves and maintaining merchandise displays.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.
- Conduct safety checks and enforce safety rules to ensure a safe environment for all customers.
- Assist with indoor and outdoor events as needed.
- General cleaning duties to include: dusting, vacuuming, mopping, taking out trash, etc.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in a sports facility.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Passion for baseball or softball is a plus, playing experience not required.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
