Job Summary:
We need a Maintenance Technician to keep our hotel safe and looking good. You will fix and maintain HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical stuff, and do carpentry work. You need to follow safety rules, be energy efficient, and work well with others. Good English communication is important.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance: Inspect and fix HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances.
- Facility Management: Take care of hotel spaces like landscaping, banquet areas, pool/spa, and parking garage.
- Guest Services: Respond quickly to guest requests and issues.
- Emergency Repairs: Handle urgent situations like fire alarms.
- Collaboration: Work with team members and vendors.
- Record Keeping: Keep logs of maintenance activities.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge: Basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, HVAC systems, pool maintenance, and landscaping.
- Tools: Experience with hand tools, power tools, and volt meters.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills for record keeping and communication
- Safety: Follow local safety rules.
- Communication: Good English skills.
- Team Attitude: Be positive, work hard, and be open to feedback.
- Customer Service: Great customer service skills.
- Experience: At least 1 year of maintenance experience; hotel or apartment maintenance preferred.
Requirements:
- Background Check: Must pass a background check.
- Physical Activity: Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 75 lbs.
