Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Full Time or Part Time
$60.00 per hour
What You Will Do
The PMHNP will provide compassionate and evidence-based psychiatric care in a community mental health setting. This includes conducting assessments, diagnosing mental health conditions, developing treatment plans, and prescribing medication to clients with a wide range of mental health needs. The PMHNP will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of clients.
Who You Are- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program.
- Board certification as a PMHNP by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licenses in Massachusetts.
- Current Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration (MCSR).
- Federal DEA license with a Data 2000 Waiver (preferred or willingness to obtain).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience providing psychiatric care, preferably in a community mental health setting.
- Familiarity with populations experiencing complex mental health conditions, co-occurring disorders, and socioeconomic challenges.
