TEEI seeks senior executives, business leaders, philanthropists, and nonprofit governance experts with experience in fundraising, corporate partnerships, finance, law, technology, or social impact.
Ideal Candidates Have:
✔ A strong commitment to education, workforce development, and nonprofit leadership.
✔ Experience in fundraising, corporate partnerships, or major donor relations.
✔ A well-established professional network in corporate philanthropy, foundations, or high-net-worth donor circles.
✔ A background in finance, law, technology, AI, education, or social impact (preferred but not required).
✔ Prior experience serving on a nonprofit board (preferred but not required).
✔ The ability to dedicate 5-10 hours per quarter to board meetings, committee work, and fundraising efforts.
Fundraising Commitment:
Each board member is expected to contribute or raise between $50,000 and $100,000 annually through personal giving, corporate sponsorships, or donor outreach.

- Facilitate introductions to high-net-worth individuals and corporate leaders who align with TEEI's mission
- Support the organization in meeting its annual fundraising goals ($50,000-$100,000 per board member)
- Strategic Leadership & Governance:
- Provide input on TEEI's U.S. expansion, financial sustainability, and strategic growth initiatives

- Participate in at least one board committee (e.g., Fundraising, Governance, Finance)
- Partnership Development & Advocacy:

- Serve as an advocate for education, workforce development, and nonprofit leadership
- Board & Committee Participation:
- Attend quarterly board meetings (virtual or in-person) and actively participate in organizational initiatives
