Our Story:
Established in 2007
Since 1992 Mike & Doug have been following The Dave Matthews band around the country. Along the way they noticed a need for restaurants that specialized in quality breakfast food. After hundreds of shows and diner breakfast food they decided to open a restaurant to change everyone’s perception of breakfast food. On October 22nd of 2007 The Egg Bistro in Chesapeake VA was hatched. Firm believers that breakfast is the most important meal of the day they made it their mission to create a menu featuring fresh and creative dishes. The Egg Bistro often uses locally sourced products from Virginia and North Carolina when available. The crew is constantly working on new food items as well as adding fun and funky drinks to the bar menu. Featuring 6 rotating local craft beers on tap and the best bloody Marys & mimosas in Virginia.
