About the Job
The EI Group is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Industrial Hygienist to join our Greenville, SC team and play a critical role in support of our clients’ initiatives to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and control occupational exposures to chemical, physical, and biological health hazards. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing on-site qualitative and quantitative exposure assessments for commercial, light and heavy industrial manufacturing clients in the region. These assessments will be performed both independently and collaboratively with a team of EI’s Senior EH&S Consultants. The industrial hygienist will work with senior staff and CIHs to develop final deliverables to include recommendations for corrective actions in conformance with the hierarchy of controls and generally accepted best practices.
Core Responsibilities :
- Develop industrial hygiene sampling plans and proposals in conformance with client specific needs
- Conduct comprehensive industrial hygiene assessments including air sampling, noise dosimetry, sound level mapping, and bioaerosol assessments.
- Perform hazardous building materials inspection to include asbestos, lead-based paint, radon, and other hazards as applicable.
- Perform indoor air quality assessments to evaluate conformance with ASHRAE 55, ASHRAE 62, EPA, USGBC-LEED and other applicable criteria.
- Analyze sample data and prepare detailed reports of findings, recommendations, and control measures.
- Maintain working knowledge of industry regulations and best practices, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail).
- Strong skills in document creation and formatting, spreadsheet management, and presentation design.
