The Eipel Engineering Group is seeking qualified candidates to join our team as a junior structural engineer in our New York City office.
Candidates should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering (B.C.E) from accredited (4) year university.
- Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) certification
- (1) – (5) Years of experience working as a structural design engineer.
- Desire to work on projects involving existing structures in and around NYC area.
- Self-starter/self-learner. Ability to absorb and learn new subject matter at a rapid pace including different types of past and present building construction.
- Translate structural design solutions into real-life construction practices/techniques in a dense building environment.
- Extensive REVIT experience.
The Eipel Engineering Group Junior Structural Engineer Description:
- Blend of office work and field/site visits to learn an array of existing building construction types and engineering solutions.
- Working under principal/project-manger to perform studies, analysis, drawing markups, investigation, calculations and modelling for large and small structural engineering projects.
- Diversity of project mix from high-end retail flagships, hospitals, commercial office retro-fits and feasibility studies.
- This position is an in-office position, (5) days a week for the first year.

Our office performs a variety of structural services mainly on existing structures, consisting of retail retro-fits, building modifications, feasibility studies, forensic/insurance cases and overall structural design.
Salary : $75,000 - $95,000
