Daily Duties:
- Check emails - must be on top of billing windows & authorization dates for MLTC's
- Confirm skilled nursing encounters (CHHA) - must be confirmed within 48 hours
- Track MLTC authorizations for billing
- Supervise PCA's to oversee implementation of care, and proper and timely completion of timesheets
- Review and file End of Shift Reports (LPN and PCA)
- Work with residents that are not accepting approved services to re-educate them on the benefits of accepting these services.
- Collaborate with Case Manger on resident care needs
- Enter new residents and/or assessments in HCM as info becomes available
- Mark assessments as "Completed" in HCM, as they get completed by RN and assign care to shifts accordingly.
- Confirm all care from PCA duty sheets in HCM, and scan for billing.
- Print new weekly duty sheets for each resident receiving services
- Create PCA schedules (Wednesdays)
- ALR: schedule care to a shift in HCM (based on auth and care plan)
-ALP: cluster care on paper calendars - 15 minutes per shift
- CHHA Daily Report
- Create RN schedule and assign all tasks to RN in HCM (3rd week of the month)
- UAS Recertification's (every 6 months)
- OASIS Recertification's (every 2 months)
- RN Recertification's (every 6 months)
- Aide Supervisions - for ever resident with PCA Services (every 3 months)
- Create LPN Schedules (3rd week of the month)
- Schedule all skilled nursing care (as per care plan), in HCM
- Assist with on boarding PCAs
- Confirm all LHCSA staff are compliant with documentation
- Perform in-services for PCAs
