What are the responsibilities and job description for the Med Tech/Resident Associate Caregiver - 6 am-2 pm (Part-Time) position at The Elite ALF at Cape Coral?
- Assist residents with self administration of mediation as it is ordered.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, i.e. bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating as directed.
- Develop meaningful relationships and contribute to the happiness of our elderly residents.
- Engage residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities.
- Assists with light housekeeping and meal service as needed.
- Help residents maintain independence, promotes dignity and physical safety of each resident.
- Notify supervisor if a resident has increased care needs.
- Respond to resident pendant calls promptly.
- Practice superior standard care precautions of cleanliness, hygiene and health.
Requirements:
- Current and valid Medication Aide/Technician Certification required.
- Ability to read, write and speak English.
- Successfully complete training as required and in accordance with state regulations.
- Must have a minimum of one year experience working with medications and the senior population.
- Must be available rotating weekends, both Saturday and Sunday.
