Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Program Director to lead and oversee our gymnastics, tumbling, ninja and Xcel gymnastics programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gymnastics or related fields, and will be responsible for developing engaging programs that promote safe gymnastics and tumbling. This role requires excellent leadership skills and the ability to inspire both staff and participants.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate programs that promote safe gymnastics and tumbling to participants of all ages.
- Supervise staff and volunteers, providing guidance and support to ensure effective program delivery.
- Create a safe and inclusive environment for all participants, emphasizing behavior management techniques.
- Collaborate with Team Director to have a good path from recreation gymnastics to team gymnastics.
- Organize training sessions in various disciplines such as gymnastics, tumbling and ninja.
- Monitor participant progress and provide feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
- Maintain program records and prepare reports on program effectiveness and participant engagement.
Skills
- Strong background in gymnastics coaching or experience in coaching a sport.
- Knowledge of behavior management strategies to effectively engage with children and youth.
- Experience in coaching gymnastics at all levels.
- Ability to develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate various activities including gymnastics, tumbling and ninja.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate others.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in program planning and execution.
