Job Title: Part-Time Sports Performance Coach

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Part-Time Sports Performance Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in coaching athletes in strength training, speed, and agility, and will be committed to fostering a motivating and engaging atmosphere in our training sessions. This role is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic about sports performance and enjoys working closely with young athletes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement effective strength training and speed/agility programs tailored to the needs of individual athletes and small groups.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate athlete performance levels and track progress over time.
- Lead small group training sessions, ensuring safety, proper technique, and engagement among participants.
- Provide feedback and instruction to athletes to improve their performance and reduce the risk of injury.
- Foster a positive and encouraging training environment that motivates athletes to achieve their personal best.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to enhance training programs and athlete experiences.
- Maintain a clean and organized training space, ensuring that all equipment is properly set up and stored.
- Stay current with the latest trends and research in sports performance training, incorporating best practices into training programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Previous experience coaching athletes in a sports performance setting, particularly in strength training, speed, and agility.
- Certifications in strength and conditioning (e.g., CSCS, NSCA, USA Weightlifting) are a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with athletes and their families.
- A passion for sports and a commitment to helping athletes excel.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications.
