Job Overview
We seek a passionate, results-driven Fundraising Manager to support our fundraising efforts and strategic initiatives that enhance our organization's mission. The ideal candidate will have a strong fundraising and event management background.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to identify potential funding sources, including grants, corporate sponsorships, and individual donors.
- Manage relationships with current donors and cultivate new ones through effective communication and engagement strategies.
- Prepare compelling proposals and presentations for potential donors and stakeholders.
- Craft grant proposals annually supporting the organization's operating, programmatic, and capital fiscal targets.
- Design, in partnership with the Executive Director, a strategy around three annual fundraising appeals and execute those appeals.
- Manage the life cycle for two annual events: EPH's Building Brighter Tomorrows Soirée and Fall Festival.
- Oversee the fundraising department's operations, including crafting thoughtful donation acknowledgments and tracking submission deadlines, reporting requirements, and all other fundraising processes and logistics.
- Manage the organization's CRM (currently Boomerang) to track donor interactions, manage fundraising campaigns, and analyze data for reporting purposes.
- Prepare fundraising performance reports for leadership and stakeholders.
- Represent EPH at community events and donor and community meetings.
Required Experience
- Minimum of two years of fundraising experience, including a combination of grant writing, annual fund campaigns, capital campaigns, or fundraising events.
- Experience in implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies
- Experience executing high-quality events
- Experience in leveraging AI and other tools to cultivate and steward donors and other supporters
- Experience building revenue-generating relationships with donors and other stakeholders.
- Knowledge of best practices in resource development.
Skills
- Strong research skills to identify funding opportunities and assess market trends.
- Strong, compelling communicator (verbal and in writing) who can effectively convey the organization’s mission and impact.
- Comfortable speaking publicly in front of both small and large audiences
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Proficient in using fundraising software and communications tools
- Ability to analyze data for informed decision-making in fundraising strategies.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to hold yourself and others accountable, with a capacity to manage across departments/functions and up to leadership to complete the work.
