Housekeeper - Full Time / 30 hours per week / Weekend Rotations
The Elizabeth Scott Community is a 5 Star Facility and we are excited to announce we are currently hiring for a Full Time Housekeeper hours are 7:00 am to 3:00 pm with rotating weekends, to join our growing team. We are looking for talented and motivated individuals who are eager to make a difference in people's lives.
Are you dedicated and detail-oriented? The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service in the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas following established protocols.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and effectively.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
- Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing as needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns.
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the facility.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
