Position Title:
Administrative Assistant, Part Time, Year round
Work Schedule:
Monday-Thursday 9-4
Hourly Wage: $18/hr.
Duties:
· Work closely with Executive Director and Programs & Events Manager, and other department leads to assist in all aspects of a smooth-running administrative office.
· Demonstrate excellent customer communication skills in person, over the telephone, through email and other electronic channels.
· Assist in scheduling and coordination of events such as weddings, corporate events, social gatherings, parties, etc.
· Assist as needed with special events in the gardens
· Generate reports, organize documents and data, maintain event calendars, order office supplies
Skills:
· Ability to deliver exceptional customer service
· Excellent communicator
· Thrives in a friendly and fun team environment
· Proficient with typical computer software, MS Office, Power Point, etc.
· Database management
Experience Preferred:
· Experience or skills of managing a day to day office
· Experience running a front desk / receptionist / working with the public
· Experience related to project coordination / Event Planning
