As a Restaurant Greeter at the Elms Hotel & Spa, you will welcome guests with a warm and genuine smile, making them feel right at home from the moment they step through the door. You will manage the flow of guests by efficiently seating them, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. Providing accurate wait times and managing reservations to maximize seating capacity will be part of your role. You will collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and timely service, assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the greeter station and the front-of-house area, and build a friendly rapport with regular patrons, making them feel like part of our restaurant family.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have a minimum of one year of experience in a restaurant, a passion for delivering outstanding customer service, and a smile that can brighten anyone's day. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds are essential. You should have strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile to exceed guests' expectations are crucial. Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, are necessary to ensure clear and accurate information exchange. Previous experience as a cashier and cash handling is preferred. Attention to detail, the ability to walk and stand for 6 hours, and flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, are required.
