What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wedding Planner / Event Coordinator position at The Elms of Coosada?
The Elms provides full service event planning for weddings, parties and corporate events. Our goal is to make every person who walks into The Elms feel special, and that often starts with our Event Coordinators.
Our Coordinators are focused on Operations rather than Design, so they identify and coordinate vendors but are not Design vendors themselves. (For example, our ECs would not be both Florist and EC.)
Being an Event Coordinator at The Elms requires very strong computer skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. We are looking for happy people who find absolute joy in the magic that can happen when friends and family gather.
The following are job requirements for all positions at The Elms:
Enjoys working with people & providing excellent customer service.
Able to be on time or early for every single meeting - this is critical.
Able to stand on your feet for many hours at a time.
Able to repeatedly lift and move up to 50 pounds by yourself
All employees are required to have a checking account, and be able to receive payment by direct deposit through a payroll company.
Salary : $39,500 - $50,000
