Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented a Bookkeeping & Payroll Associate to join our team. The Business Associate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of bookkeeping and payroll for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll checks and payroll tax forms and ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations
-Complete data entry and collect transaction details for incoming and outgoing bank and credit card account transactions.
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
-produce financial statements for management review
-Prepare and file sales tax
Experience
- Prior experience in bookkeeping and payroll processing is required
-Proficiency in journal entries, accounting principles, financial concepts and payroll
- Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online
- Knowledge of technical accounting practices, as well as payroll tax filings
-Responsiveness with management and clients is a must
- Experience in public accounting, governmental accounting, or corporate accounting
Requirements
- Public Accounting Experience a must.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
