Job description
Seeking: A seasoned Rooms Division Manager to supervise our amazing team!
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and lead the front office and housekeeping departments.
- Responsible for hiring, training, and supervising all front desk, housekeeping and laundry staff in coordination with General Manager.
- Responsible for providing performance feedback to all direct reports within a timely manner as well as completing 90 day new hire and annual review of all direct reports on time.
- Responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas, and for reporting to the maintenance department any deficiency in any room or public area, and all out of order equipment.
- Schedule front desk, housekeeping and laundry staff in accordance with occupancy forecasts.
- Reviews department time cards, minutes per occupied rooms, meal break compliance and overtime reports weekly.
- Plans and supervises all short term and long term housekeeping projects to meet the department and hotels goals
- Maintains the lost & found section and records associated with it daily.
- Inventories all supplies and places purchases for linen, cleaning and operating supplies to ensure proper par levels for the department with accordance to the department’s budget.
- Reviews and enters appropriate comment summary for the departments’ Profit and Loss statement with the General Manager.
- Act a liaison between front desk and housekeeping, and maintenance and housekeeping.
- Responds to and services guest’s needs in a friendly, courteous, and efficient manner.
- Review’s SALT scores and guest feedback. Communicates results as well as plans and actions to improve the department and hotel scores.
- Maintain a clean and attractive work area, uniforms, employees, and person.
- Must be responsible for security of guests, fellow employees, and hotel assets.
- Must perform any other required duties as requested by the General Manager to aid in better operation of the hotel, restaurant, lounge, and service to the guests.
- Keep confidential the business functions of the company including, but not limited to, financial status, customer/guest information, employee issues, etc.
Our successful Rooms Division Manger Candidate will have:
- At least three (3) years of supervisory experience
- Direct experience in Front Desk, Housekeeping & Laundry
- Proven management of a large team with an emphasis on driving culture and increasing employee retention
- Developed time management and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to communicate effectively by writing, telephone, and personal meeting situations.

- Assist with the planning and organizing of quarterly team charity events

Pay: Up to $90,000.00 per hour
