PM Housekeepers

Hay Creek Hotels is seeking detail-oriented Housekeeping Stayover and Turndown Attendants to join our team of hospitality professionals at the Embers Hotel. In addition to providing guests stayover service this position will also provide turndown service which refers to the practice of preparing a guest's room for sleep, typically in the early evening, by turning down the bed, adjusting lighting, freshening towels, and leaving amenities.

Part-time positions, up to 30 hours per week, available with weekday and weekend shifts from 12pm to 8pm.

$18 per hour.

Job Summary:

• Provide daily housekeeping service to all stayover guests including making beds, emptying trash, cleaning bathroom, and replacing any disposable items.

• Turndown all guestrooms to the satisfaction of housekeeping supervisor and in accordance with the standards and policies of the department.

• Communicate with housekeeping supervisor upon completion of your duties to ensure results are in accordance with the standards and policies of the department.

• Keep cart inventory and storage areas stocked and organized at all times, respectfully setting up the next shift for success.

• Assist in maintaining cleanliness in public areas including lobby, guest restrooms, hallways, stairs, elevator, etc.

• Assist in performing laundry duties as needed.

• Demonstrate team behavior and attitude of working together to accomplish tasks.

• Address each and every guest using the S.E.A.C. method, with a smile, eye contact, acknowledge their presence in a timely manner with appropriate greeting, and kindly close.

• Adhere to all Safety and Security policies and procedures outlined by the housekeeping department and the company.

Experience and Skills:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate smoothly and professionally under high stress situations.
