What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Manager position at The Emerald Paw Pet Resort?
The Manager assists the Resort Managers and Owner in overseeing operations, staff training, sales and service. The Manager will confidently and effectively lead to ensure all aspects of The Emerald Paw Pet Resort operate with the highest gold standards.
The Manager will ensure pet guests are kept safe and in a sparkling clean environment.
Assist in making all pet guests feel loved and ensure they have more wiggle in their wag!
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Our priority is compassionate care for the dogs that are in our resort by minimizing stress, ensuring safety and care and ensuring consistency in dog care by all staff and effective communication between shifts.
-Will lead with a fear-free and positive reinforcement approach.
-Troubleshoot dog behavior issues and staff handling problems. Utilize basic obedience skills with problem dogs.
-Troubleshoot dog care issues and staff handling problems. Take steps to resolve feeding/elimination/stress in a timely manner.
-Ensure all Pet Assistants follow pet care schedule/feeding/playgroup assignments.
-Oversee the daily operation of the Resort; managing operations to provide and maintain standards of conduct, cleanliness, guest care and safety.
-Monitor reservations and communicate reservation levels.
-Deliver exceptional customer service to all clients with positivity and professionalism.
-Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the resort.
-Maintain confidentiality in The Emerald Paw practices and all aspects of the business including pet guest images and information.
-Manages, supervises, trains and coaches Resort staff based on company standards.
-Responsible for all uses of Gingr, to include overseeing and maintaining quality control for checking in and out of dogs, monitoring add-on services and ensuring they’re completed.
-Maintains a positive outlook and takes initiative. The Manager is able to motivate and lift the team.
-Provide feedback & performance improvement suggestions to staff.
-Effectively communicates health of behavior concerns with clients in a professional manner.
-Handles client issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
-Oversee Daily Checklists to ensure excellence in cleanliness and performance.
-Assists with special projects, events and promotions
