About the Role:
The Emerson Inn by the Sea is seeking a friendly, reliable, and dedicated full-time Guest Communication & Sales Coordinator to join our hotel team.
As the afternoon-to-evening face of the Inn (Wednesday through Sunday, 1pm–9pm), you will play a key role in managing guest communication, driving room sales, and supporting our hotel marketing efforts — all while ensuring each guest experiences exceptional service by the sea!
Compensation & Schedule:
- $18-$20/hour Sales/Performance Bonus
- Full-Time | Wednesday–Sunday | 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to phone and email inquiries to help guests reserve their ideal room.
- Upsell room types and packages to maximize occupancy and revenue.
- Assist with social media and digital marketing projects during quieter moments.
- Ensure that guests checking in receive a remarkable first onsite impression.
- Greet and manage arriving guests with a warm, professional presence, anticipating their needs.
You will thrive in this role if you:
- Enjoy interacting with people and crafting memorable guest experiences.
- Are confident with computers, point-of-sale systems, Microsoft Office, and email etiquette.
- Have a strong sense of initiative but can adhere to policies and procedures.
- Have experience in hospitality, customer service, or marketing.
- Can commit to summer availability.
