What Will You Do?
- Perform or assist scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair on mechanical equipment.
- Identify and troubleshoot problems, make repairs as follows: calibrate pneumatic control equipment, replace mechanical seals, re-pack pumps and valves, replace bearings and belts and check for proper alignment, repair fan coil units, pressure vessels, replace piping and fittings and maintain appropriate records of preventive maintenance and repairs.
- Prepare and paint surfaces of building structure, furniture and equipment using proper application techniques, various products and visual ability to identify colors and patterns, measure lengths and quantities and assess areas for repair.
- Respond to requests and make the necessary repairs in a timely and courteous manner.
- Maintain knowledge of fire standpipe, sprinkler systems and fire extinguishers throughout the facility to ensure proper working condition and fire protection in compliance with local fire codes.
- Assist with requests to shut down water, steam and gas supplies.
- Change filters on HVAC and fan coil units.
- Performs all work orders assigned.
- Perform or assist in all repairs, maintenance and painting.
- Perform preventive maintenance according to PM Schedule.
- Report to Management regarding the condition of the property.
- Maintain proper environmental conditions throughout the Hotel.
- Assist with contractor requests as instructed by Management.
What You Bring.
- Knowledge of operations on the Hospitality Industry
- Must be able to stand in one place for extended periods of time, and to remain on feet for up to 8 hours.
- Technologically sound with Microsoft Office applications.
