Position Overview:
Prepares wholesome food for Accanto Health clients, their communicates of support and staff following the site menu and designated recipes in support of the Therapeutic Supported Meal process. Maintains the kitchen, storage and culinary spaces in accordance with nutrition and culinary policies and procedures in addition to regulatory sanitation and safety standards.
Schedule:
- Full time (40 hours a week), 6:30a-3p with the occasional 10:30a-7p shift.
- Weekend and holiday rotation.
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or equivalent, required
- At least 1-2 years of cooking experience in a medium volume kitchen, required
- Experience in a healthcare, hospital or mental health setting, preferred
- Strong communication skill (written and verbal), preferred
- Experience working with vulnerable populations, preferred
- Valid driver’s license, required
- ServSafe Certification or ability to obtain upon hire, required
