Position Overview
The Behavioral Health Technician supports the residential milieu by facilitating therapeutic activity groups, assisting clients in acquiring skills to manage their eating disorder, maintaining a recovery-oriented environment, and providing general support and assistance.
Schedule: Full-time Mid Shift - 3PM-11PM Tuesday-Saturday (5 Shifts per week & holidays as assigned.)
- Participates in therapeutic meals and snacks and provides support to residents at mealtimes and snacks
- Supports residents during structured outings and recreation
- Monitors and supports bathroom use per client treatment
- Monitors and documents exercise
- Available to engage, challenge, and support residents as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Mental health experience preferred
- Must have valid driver's license and be authorized to drive
- Previous direct mental health experience preferred
