Position Overview
The BHT Supervisor is responsible for providing supervision to the inpatient and residential Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs), ensuring that a therapeutic and recovery-oriented milieu is maintained. The BHT Manager provides supervision, coaching, and role specific training to BHTs, consistent with the Accanto clinical philosophy and programming models, as well as to general standards of professional behavior. The BHT Supervisor provides staff performance feedback, including annual performance evaluations, and supports ongoing skill development.
Schedule: Sunday's, Monday's, Thursday's and Fridays - Mid Shift - 3PM-11PM
How BHT Supervisors Empower Recovery
- Provides supervision, training, and support to new and existing staff
- Participates in treatment team, mini team, morning huddle and other meetings as assigned
- Participates in provision of meal support to clients during meals and meal outings, leads milieu activities, transports clients and supervises patient outings, and provides skills coaching when appropriate
- Ensures staff performance is consistent with their job description, Accanto Treatment Philosophy, Accanto policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Weekend rotation on call duties
Qualifications
- Qualified BA or BS degree in psychology, social work or related health field required or relevant experience
- Must have a valid driver's license and be authorized to drive.
