Position Summary: Full Time 1.0 FTE, Full Benefits, Monday through Friday with weekend on-call coverage. Must be a Registered Dietitian with WA State (or ability to obtain by start date).
The Nutrition and Culinary Manager (NCM) provides oversight for the Nutrition and Culinary Services at the residential level of care to ensure adherence to the Accanto Health nutrition philosophy, food model and professional standards. The NCM demonstrates advanced clinical knowledge and skill, provides clinical and administrative supervision, and sees that nutrition and culinary services are executed in the most efficient and effective manner, consistent with the culture, norms and expectations of the organization. The NCM is a member of the site leadership team. This position will carry out additional registered dietitian clinical responsibilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure delivery of high-quality nutrition and culinary services to clients and their families/communities of support.
- Ensures that all nutrition and culinary operations and the care provided are in alignment with the clinical model.
- Partners with Accanto Nutrition Leadership as part of the nutrition leadership team.
- Collaborates with site leadership to identify and manage issues and initiatives related to client care and site operations.
- Upholds Nutrition and Culinary Services policies, external regulatory standards, and payor requirements.
- Completes assigned projects relating to Nutrition and Culinary Services department and/or site leadership needs in partnership with Accanto Nutrition Leadership and Site Director, as requested (may include CE presentations).
- Attends regularly scheduled meetings as assigned.
- Supervises Nutrition and Culinary Services operations.
- Hiring and training, supervision, and development for all direct reports.
- Manages Nutrition and Culinary Service personnel administrative needs, such as scheduling, paid time off requests, timecards, and expense reports.
- Partners with Dietetic Internship Coordinator and Site Director as primary site Dietetic Internship Preceptor, where applicable.
- Partners with site leadership to provide nutrition consultation, feedback, and training for staff as needed.
- Identifies and communicates with site and national nutrition leadership need for clinical programming and/or curriculum enhancements.
- Maintains up-to-date nutrition skills and knowledge of advancements in eating disorders assessment and treatment, best practices, and resources.
- Maintains at all times the confidentiality of former and current Accanto clients' protected health information, as directed by state and federal law, and Accanto policy. Additionally, maintains confidentiality in any position with access to employee personal information.
- Maintains at all times the confidentiality of proprietary information, which includes but is not limited to, trade secrets, sensitive company information, and generally any company information not made available to the public.
- Participates in site-based and national Quality Assurance activities.
- Maintains partial clinical caseload in accordance with the Registered Dietitian job description.
- Provides coverage, as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Dietitian in the state of Washington required
- ServSafe Certified Manager required
- Additional food safety certification as required by the state and municipality
- Leadership experience preferred
- Foodservice experience preferred
- Must have valid driver's license in the state of employment
- Current Basic Life Support certification required (American Heart Association) within 30 days from date of hire

- Holidays: Employees not working at a residential or inpatient facility are eligible for 7 paid holidays and 1 floating holiday
- Non-exempt employees working at a residential or inpatient facility will receive premium pay at a rate of double time if they are scheduled and work on one of ten designated holidays.
- Employees hired on or after February 20, 2022, will receive premium pay at a rate of time and-a-half if scheduled and work on one of ten designated holidays.
- Exempt employees working at a residential or inpatient facility who are scheduled to work on a holiday may take the holiday on a different day during the same pay period. Additionally, non-exempt employees are eligible or various shift and weekend differentials.

Compensation Range:
Compensation Range: $81,035 - $125,605 annually
Final compensation offered will be within pay range based on qualifications/experience met for position.
