Yoga Teacher
The Yoga Teacher is a member of a multidisciplinary team that uses their training and knowledge in yoga to plan and lead experiential yoga groups for clients receiving eating disorder treatment. Yoga groups integrate body awareness, mindfulness, meditation, breathing practices, yoga postures, and relaxation.
Schedule :
Part Time, 0.5 FTE ( 20hrs / wk), hours vary depending on program coverage, but typically range M-F between 8a-4p.
How Yoga Teachers Empower Recovery :
- Responsible for planning and leading yoga groups for clients with eating disorders in inpatient, residential, intensive programming, and outpatient settings.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain timely documentation in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and enhance knowledge of yoga practice through self-study and CEU opportunities.
- Maintain an organized and clean environment for yoga practice.
- Maintain and manage yoga supplies for the site.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
