Seeking an Accounting Manager with strong operational skills who has worked with and has high level skills utilizing property management software such as Yardi or something similar such as MRI. Strengths utilizing property management software to its fullest capacity is a requirement of this position. The position involves integrating property management software and acting as liaison between the site staff and the accounting department. The Accounting Manager position will also involve helping to set up the property management software system (this is not an IT position) and the integration of the property management software such as with Yardi or MRI, collaborating across departments, as this is important to the smooth running of the company.
This is an established company near the Fort Lee, NJ area that is focused on the multifamily industry. The role of the accounting manager includes excellent communication between the corporate staff and the site level teams to help streamline processes, functioning as an internal expert for the accounting department with the ability to provide insight, guidance and support.
While not a position within the IT department, the accounting manager should have knowledge of SQL and database management. This combined knowledge of accounting, accounting management, and operations is critical to the accounting manager position.
The ideal accounting manager candidate will have excellent communications skills, enjoy mentoring and guiding staff to assist with the streamlining of operations through effective use of the property software system and should possess a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related degree.
Compensation: $160,000
