Building Engineer – Luxury High-Rise Community

We are seeking an experienced Building Engineer to oversee the operations and maintenance of a premier high-rise multi-family community. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with deep expertise in building systems, vendor management, and in-house staff supervision in an upscale living environment.

Key Responsibilities Of Building Engineer

• Oversee all building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical operations, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service agreements to maintain high-quality property standards.
• Lead and supervise in-house maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and performance oversight.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Partner with property management to develop budgets and capital improvement plans.
• Respond to emergencies and critical building system issues as needed.
• Financial acumen, including budgeting and reporting.
  
  

Qualifications Of Building Engineer

• Proven experience managing high-rise, multi-family residential properties.
• Expertise in building systems maintenance, vendor oversight, and in-house team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, and energy management systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours and respond to urgent facility needs.
  
  

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
