Job Summary / Objective :
The Data Analyst position with our client is critical in transforming complex data from business, customer, and platform sources into actionable insights. These insights are vital for improving operational efficiency and guiding strategic decision-making for both our clients and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess advanced proficiency in data analysis, business intelligence tools, and experience with predictive analytics and data modeling. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and business acumen to deliver reports, dashboards, and analytics that empower clients to optimize construction processes, maximize resources, and drive profitability.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct in-depth analyses of complex datasets using advanced analytical techniques to derive actionable insights.
- Design, build, and deliver reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to help clients unlock the full potential of the platform.
- Analyze both qualitative and quantitative customer data to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and maintain a repository of standardized and customized reporting templates to ensure efficiency and consistency.
- Effectively communicate complex data insights to stakeholders across the organization, ensuring that even non-technical audiences can understand and act upon them.
- Collaborate with various departments (e.g., marketing, sales, product, operations) to understand business needs and align data projects with organizational goals.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses and present findings that drive business decisions and improvements.
- Partner with internal technical teams to address data gaps, improve data quality, and enhance reporting capabilities.
- Design, develop, and optimize machine learning and deep learning algorithms to support predictive analytics and data modeling.
- Implement forecasting techniques to predict construction project timelines, focusing on reducing construction days for new homes.
- Develop and deploy machine learning models to extract valuable insights from large datasets.
Required Skills, Education, and Experience :
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a data analytics role with a strong focus on problem-solving and analytical thinking.Bachelors degree in an analytical field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Management, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics) or equivalent relevant experience.Strong experience in data analysis, with deep knowledge of statistical methods, data manipulation, and pattern recognition.Ability to devise and test hypotheses and implement research plans independently; experience identifying the right questions to ask and solving problems accordingly.Strong business acumen and the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business recommendations.Experience working cross-functionally with teams such as marketing, sales, product, and operations to align data projects with business goals.Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Quicksight, Tableau, Power BI) to build reports and dashboards that communicate insights effectively.Hands-on experience with predictive analytics, including knowledge of predictive modeling, machine learning, and forecasting methods.Proficiency in programming languages like Python and SQL to manipulate data and create solutions.Mastery of Excel, including advanced functions, macros, pivot tables, and complex formulas.Proven experience developing solutions using Data Lakes and working with Cloud platforms.Experience working in an Agile environment, contributing to continuous improvement and iterative data project execution.Experience in the home construction industry is preferred, but not required.Work Environment :
This position operates in an office setting with standard office equipment.Physical Requirements :
Frequent sitting, occasional walking, frequent use of hands, constant hearing, and frequent talking.May require exerting up to 10 lbs of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.Position Type / Expected Hours of Work :
Full-time position, expected to work 40 hours per week.Compensation Information :
Compensation will range from $80,000 to $100,000 annually. Final compensation will be discussed during the interview process based on experience and qualifications.Application Window :
