Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing ammonia refrigeration on commercial low-temperature coolers & freezers.
Ensure continued production operation as it relates to refrigeration equipment.
Dismantle malfunctioning system and test components using electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic testing equipment
Responds to emergency Calls regarding refrigeration systems.

Physical Requirements:
Physical demands with activity or conditions that require considerable time include sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and carrying products.
Ability to frequently lift or move 75 lbs. packages.
Ability to work in extreme temperatures ranging from -40 to 100 degrees.
Ability to work from elevated catwalks, aerial lift platforms, ladders, and scissor lift
Minimum Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:
Candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in refrigeration and HVAC and utility equipment/systems operation, repair, and maintenance. (RETA Certification – CARO and CIRO)
EPA refrigerant recovery certification.
HAZMAT training certification preferred.
Must be able to work in -40 to 100 degree temperatures.
Must be able to provide own hand tools.
Must have working knowledge of Process Safety Management program (PSM) relative to Ammonia Refrigeration Systems
Excellent organizational skills and strong interpersonal skills
Must pass drug screen, background (clear), MVR (clear), Pass Physical and all levels of PAT Test
Must have a valid Texas Drivers License and 5 years of driving experience
Some travel is required.
Other Duties:
EPA refrigerant recovery certification.
HAZMAT training certification preferred.
