Shifts: (Rotating Schedule)
1st 6:00AM - 6:30PM
2nd 6:00PM - 6:30AM ( $3.00 Differential)
Job Details:
- Operate manufacturing equipment efficiently while adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Follow Process Work Instructions to manually assemble components, including bolts, screws, shafts, or bearings, into complete assemblies.
- Achieve production targets and contribute to the team’s success by completing tasks within set timeframes.
- Handle materials by lifting, positioning, and removing them from work areas.
- Load, stack, and transport materials using various methods such as hand, truck, crane, or jib.
- Read and understand Work Process Instructions to perform tasks accurately.
Position Requirements:
- Two years of experience in manufacturing, trade labor, craning, or fabrication; construction experience is a plus.
- Effective communication skills in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
- Ability to read and understand instructions, correspondence, and memos.
- Must pass confined space and respiratory fit tests as required.
Experience Needed:
Candidates must have at least two years of experience in manufacturing, composites, or skilled trades. We prefer candidates with a history of stable employment and longevity in their careers. Industries and skilled trades experience that align with this role include:
- Aerospace, Automotive, Concrete, Marine, Fiberglass, Energy, Kevlar, Prepreg, Resin, Reinforced Plastics, and Composite Honeycomb.
- Skilled Trades: Building (Carpenter, Electrician, Painter, Plumber, HVAC), Mechanical/Industrial (Machinist, Ironworker, Fabricator).
Composite Work Experience:
Experience with fiberglass, molds, resin, epoxy, Bondo, and injection molding is preferred. Familiarity with composite manipulation techniques, including fabrication, sanding, filling, shaping, grinding, painting, hand layup, vacuum bagging, resin transfer molding, and autoclave curing, is highly desirable.
