Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Transport Driver to join our team. The Transport Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting passengers or goods to their destinations.
- Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles following all safety regulations and traffic laws
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers or clients during transportation
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle as needed
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the vehicle
- Communicate effectively with dispatch or supervisors regarding schedules, routes, and any issues that may arise during transportation.
- Transporting patients who require medical assistance but are not in immediate life-threatening situations.
- Providing patient care.
- Ensuring confidentiality.
- Managing time-sensitive schedules.
- Collecting fares from passengers (if applicable).
- Communicating with passengers.
- Ensuring passengers arrive safely at their destination.
Experience
- Previous experience in shuttle driving, bus driving, or commercial driving is preferred
- Familiarity with paratransit, school bus driving, or limousine services is a plus
- Ability to handle heavy lifting if required
- Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.52 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 β 40 per week
