Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services, ensuring a high level of customer service while maintaining the vehicle in excellent condition. This role requires a commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate various types of vehicles, including shuttle buses, delivery vans, and limousines.
- Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, ensuring a pleasant travel experience.
- Assist passengers with boarding and alighting from the vehicle, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage and passenger counts.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
- Provide paratransit services as needed, accommodating passengers with special needs.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred; experience in commercial driving is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in school bus driving, shuttle driving, or as a delivery driver is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse groups of people.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Excellent time management skills with a focus on punctuality and reliability.
- A clean driving record with no major violations or accidents.

Pay: $15.50 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
