What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Line Producer position at The Encompass Group?
The Encompass Group is partnering with a leading insurance broker and wholesaler who is looking to add a Commercial P&C Producer to their growing team. The Producer will be apart of the brokerage team and help market new P&C business and renew existing accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Solicit, Market, Negotiate, Broker, and Bind accounts according to division procedure guidelines
- Demonstrate technical knowledge of concepts, terms, and overall policy knowledge
- Maintain & cultivate ongoing partnerships with existing Carrier Partners
- Work with and assist when needed with existing brokerage staff
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience in insurance industry.
- Insurance license (P&C license required within 6 months of hire).
- Organization, time management, attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong Computer Skills
- Strong communication skills to establish relationships with customers, communicate company goals and objectives and meet with underwriting teams on strategy/tactics
Location: Greenville, South Carolina
Work Status: Full-time (2 days remote, 3 days in-office)
Schedule: 8:15am – 5:00pm
