Service Technician Job Overview Service Technicians may work alone to start, complete, or assist in the completion of basic low voltage and AV installations in both residential and commercial environments. Service technicians are familiar with AV solutions, camera systems, security systems, access control, lighting control, and home automation. Service technicians are fully capable of working independently. Service technicians have thorough knowledge of current hardware and must be willing to stay up to date with new iterations of hardware and software. Service technicians are self-motivated, with strong communication skills, and they will operate in an efficient and organized manner to ensure the delivery of fully functional and sophisticated low voltage solutions. Service Technicians may work independently, with Tech Assistants, or with Lead Technicians.

Key Job Responsibilities
- Complete sophisticated low voltage installations and configurations
- Install and configure network and data systems
- Install control systems (AV/lighting/shade/access)
- Understands and installs AV and Home Theater systems
- Focused on Client Satisfaction during every interaction and endeavor.
Job Requirements
- Capable of installing and configuring AV and Home Theater systems
- Capable of installing and configuring low voltage lighting solutions
- Capable of installing and configuring low voltage shade systems
- Capable of installing and documenting basic security systems.
- Capable of installing and configuring basic and surveillance systems
- Capable of installing and configuring basic and network equipment
- Identifies and conveys all appropriate details to ensure effective project management.
- Effortlessly moves between independent and collaborative contribution to both designs and installations
