The AVEVA MES Engineer conceptualizes, designs, constructs, tests, implements, and documents MES, MOM, Digital Transformation, and other data-driven manufacturing applications that meet customer requirements and follow applicable best practices and standards. Travel up to 20% may be required. Digital Transformation projects at EOSYS leverage a variety of technologies such as: AVEVA MES, TrakSYS, Ignition, C# /VB.NET, SQL Server, ASP.NET, JSON, JavaScript, OPC, PLCs, Barcode scanners, RFID, and Machine vision.
Requirements
- A minimum of a B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering from an accredited college/university
- Minimum 5 years MES Application experience; with at least 3 years in AVEVA MES
- AVEVA MES experience in two or more: Operations, Performance, Quality and/or MDM
- Expertise in MES design, development, and implementation
- Experience with customer requirements and specification development
- Must have experience successfully interacting and working with customers at multiple levels of responsibility in a manufacturing or production environment
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks, have excellent attention to detail, and be willing and able to learn new technologies quickly
- Must be able to work successfully in a matrix structure, focused strongly on customer service and personnel growth
- Must have solid verbal and written communication skills
- Must have a strong work ethic and be willing to travel up to 20% of the time
- Must be willing to work in a plant environment
Nice to Have
- AVEVA MES certifications:
- AVEVA Model-Driven MES (MDM)
- AVEVA MES Operations
- Experience with MS SQL Server
- Experience with .NET development (C# preferred)
- Other MES platform experience is a plus (i.e. TrakSYS, Sepasoft, Plex)
