What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Services Manager position at The EPIC Center?
Objectives of the position: As an ambassador of Jesus Christ, the Client Services Director oversees the development and delivery of parenting and education programs at The EPIC Center. The Client Services Director will work closely with the Executive Director and Center Director to manage all educational initiatives, including prenatal classes, parenting courses, infant safety workshops, and more.
Reports to: The Executive Director
Status: Non-Exempt, Part-time
Minimum Qualifications:
- Be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
- Exhibit strong commitment and dedication to the pro-life position and sexual purity.
- Agree with and be willing to uphold the Commitment of Care and Competence, Core Values, Statement of Faith, and policies of the center.
- Have a bachelor's or master's degree in social work, education, program management, or client services.
- Have one year of experience as a volunteer in some ministry capacity
- Experience in teaching or developing educational programs, particularly related to parenting, prenatal care, or family services.
- Exhibit skill in interpersonal communication, public speaking, and problem solving.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to relate to diverse client groups.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Be able to provide spiritual leadership, discipleship, and support to the volunteers.
- Be able to carry out responsibilities with little or no supervision.

Essential Functions:
I. Program Development and Oversight
· Lead the development, coordination, and delivery of all parenting and education classes, including parenting skills, breastfeeding support, and infant health and safety.
· Consult with medical staff to develop, coordinate, and deliver all prenatal, labor and delivery classes.
· Assess client needs and work with the Center Director and Executive Director to create new initiatives that address the unique challenges facing families in our community.
· Ensure all programs are biblically based and incorporate the center’s core values of life, family, and faith.
· Evaluate the effectiveness of classes and workshops through client feedback and program assessments.
· Regularly review curriculum materials to ensure they are up-to-date and relevant to the needs of new parents.
· Working with the Center Director and Executive Director, create a monthly class schedule.
· Share monthly class schedule with community partners.
· Working with the Executive Director, cultivate community partnerships that will benefit EPIC client and strengthen the community.
· Work with the Executive Director on procurement and management of educational materials, including textbooks, workbooks, and class supplies.
II. Client Services
- Oversee peer counseling and other services provided for clients.
- Provide peer counseling and services for clients when volunteers are not available.
- Schedule client appointments and assist the Center Director in managing the center’s calendar ensure smooth client flow.
- Provide clients with intake forms and assist with completing necessary paperwork, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism.
- Work directly with clients, assessing their needs and recommending appropriate classes or resources that align with their parenting journey.
- Create a welcoming and safe environment where clients feel comfortable accessing services and seeking help when needed.
- Maintain and update the referral resources for volunteers and client use.
- Evaluate, select, and maintain needed educational materials and resources for client use, with the help of the Executive Director.
- Lead prayer time at the beginning of each shift.
- Be available to minister to the needs of the volunteers.
- Ensure that resources are distributed to clients in a timely manner and that clients have access to any additional support materials they need for success in their parenting journey.
III. Training
- Assist volunteer training seminar, when necessary.
- Assist in scheduling volunteer in-service trainings.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
