Position Summary: Episcopal Collegiate School is seeking a talented and versatile Graphic Designer & Digital Content Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for creating high-quality visual designs for both print and digital platforms, including, but not limited to, magazine spreads, website graphics, social media content, and digital assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, excellent technical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a consistent brand identity across various media channels.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Graphic Design & Branding:
  • Design and produce visual assets for various digital and print mediums, including but not limited to website graphics, magazine spreads, brochures, and email templates.
  • Ensure all designs align with the School’s brand guidelines and effectively communicate the brand’s voice and aesthetic.
  • Develop creative concepts for marketing campaigns, promotional materials, and internal communications.
  • Website & Digital Asset Management:
  • Regularly update and maintain the company website, ensuring content is current, visually appealing, and user-friendly.
  • Collaborate with the web development team to implement design updates and improvements to the website.
  • Create and optimize digital assets such as banners, images, and icons for the website.
  • Social Media Management & Content Creation:
  • Design and develop eye-catching social media content, including graphics, videos, and animations for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Director to ensure social media content is timely, relevant, and on-brand.
  • Monitor social media trends and adapt content to increase engagement and reach.
  • Magazine & Print Design:
  • Design magazine spreads, newsletters, and other print publications, ensuring a consistent layout, typography, and visual appeal.
  • Collaborate with writers and editors to layout content in an aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly format.
  • Collaboration & Project Management:
  • Work closely with the Director of Marketing to understand design needs and deadlines of various teams throughout the School. 
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions, providing creative input and ideas for upcoming campaigns and design projects.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, etc.).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design work across digital and print media.
  • Experience with web design and basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a bonus 
  • Experience in social media design and content creation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong understanding of typography, layout, and color theory.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of current design trends, digital marketing strategies, and social media best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Fine Arts, or related field (or equivalent work experience).


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with video editing tools (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) or motion graphics (After Effects).
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Squarespace.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, etc.).


Working Specifications:

  • This is a full-time position.
  • Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for various school community events or project timelines. 
  • Remote work opportunities provided on a project basis.
