We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Banquet Captain to join our team at The Equinox Resort. Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and exceeding guest expectations.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the setup and preparation of banquet rooms for events
- Ensure seamless service delivery during events, including serving and bussing tables
- Collaborate with the Banquet Manager to develop and implement effective strategies for maximizing guest satisfaction and revenue growth
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and F&B teams
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort setting
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service and lead by example
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
- Familiarity with industry-standard banquet operations systems and procedures
