Your Key Responsibilities Include:
- Pre-shift preparation of the restaurant to ensure seamless service.
- Greeting guests as they arrive or move about the restaurant with a warm and welcoming smile.
- Guiding guests through their culinary journey by describing menu options and enhancing the conversation.
- Accurately taking orders and confirming special requests.
- Serving as the master of the menu, understanding its details to provide expert recommendations.
- Collaborating with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff to deliver exceptional service.
- Assisting guests who have concerns to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
- Fulfilling the experience through timely and accurate bill presentation.
- An engaging and welcoming personality that sets the tone for exceptional guest experiences.
- Excellent descriptive skills to sell menu options effectively.
- 2-4 years of experience in the food service industry.
- In-depth knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits.
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments with fast-paced rhythms.
