Duties and Responsibilities:
- Familiarity with construction/industrial tools & equipment (experience working with or renting to contractors, electricians, plumbers, landscapers, and builders)
- Mechanically inclined (basic understanding of equipment functionality, though deep mechanical knowledge is not required)
- Previous experience in rental coordination, logistics, or customer service
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound customer calls, recording detailed information (who, what, when, and where)
- Quote, reserve, and schedule equipment rentals
- Follow up and close deals efficiently to maximize revenue opportunities
- Track rental fleet utilization to ensure availability and profitability
- Build strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business
- Proactively make collection calls for past-due accounts
