We are seeking a Part-Time Teller/Customer Service Representative banking professional for our West Allis Office located at 7400 W. Oklahoma Avenue, West Allis, WI 53219.
This position is scheduled for Monday through Friday and Saturday morning. NO EVENINGS and NO SUNDAYS and we provide the training!
The individual we seek will effectively interact and service Bank customers by opening accounts, taking deposits and conducting withdrawals efficiently and accurately. Creating customer relationships in order to promote the Bank’s products and services and cross-sell bank products is also an expectation.
Position Requirements:
- Previous experience in a professional face-to-face customer service position.
- Previous cash handling experience.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Proficient computer skills in commonly used software programs such as Microsoft Office.
- Must be able to effectively interact with other Bank staff and customers.
Specific Job Functions:
- Will be involved in ordering, receiving, verifying, and distributing cash.
- May be responsible for bank opening/closing.
- Opens new accounts.
- Open and Close Vault.
- Makes concentrated efforts to solve customer problems both personally and over the telephone.
- Accepting retail and/or commercial deposits, verifying cash and endorsements and giving customers their receipts.
- Identifying customers and cashing checks.
- Accepting savings deposits and withdrawals, verifying signatures.
- Provides additional customer services including Cashier’s Checks.
- Orders Travelers’ Cheques, Stop Payments, and Certificates of Deposits.
- Balances cash daily.
- Accepts payments for all loans.
- Perform as a team member in allocating and coordinating the work flow.
- Promotes and maintains positive relations with all contacts including customers and potential customers.
- Contribute to the fulfillment of department and company objectives and goals.
