Part-Time Social Media & Content Creator
Position: Part-Time (W-9 Contractor)
Reports to: Communication Manager
Location: Nashville, TN (Hybrid – Will be needed for some in-person events)
Compensation: $2,000/month
The Equity Alliance (TEA) is looking for a Social Media & Content Creator to manage and create engaging content for TEA’s social media platforms. This role will focus on real-time posting, rapid response messaging, and growing TEA’s digital presence across X, Instagram, and Facebook.
Responsibilities
- Create and post content across TEA’s social media platforms.
- Develop and edit short-form video content, including Instagram Reels.
- Monitor and engage with TEA’s online community in real time.
- Ensure TEA is present in key conversations through rapid response posting.
- Maintain brand consistency in all social media communications.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and engagement strategies.
- Experience creating and editing Reels and short-form video content.
- Strong writing skills for captions, rapid response messaging, and content strategy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and post quickly when needed.
- Experience in advocacy, grassroots organizing, or movement-based communications preferred.
