Marketing Manager


Location: Naperville, IL — On-site, 5 days/week


Our client is a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial healthcare company dedicated to delivering innovative solutions. They’re looking for a strategic and results-oriented Marketing Manager with a strong B2B marketing foundation and demand generation expertise to help scale the business. What You’ll Do

  • Lead Demand Generation Strategy: Design and execute integrated campaigns focused on high-quality lead generation, driving pipeline growth across mid-market and multi-site customer segments.
  • Own B2B Campaign Execution: Build and manage B2B campaigns tailored to healthcare-adjacent and multi-location business audiences. Support both net-new lead acquisition and cross-sell/upsell opportunities.
  • Manage a Small, Agile Team: Lead and mentor a small team, fostering collaboration across sales, content, and product. Directly manage internal marketers and guide external vendors with a long-term goal of bringing more creative/content in-house.
  • Drive Customer-Centric Messaging: Develop campaigns that align with upstream selling strategies and customer needs—supporting sales enablement and real-time feedback loops with the sales team.
  • Execute Across Channels: Oversee campaigns across email, paid digital (Google Ads), SEO, webinars, social, and more. Balance day-to-day execution with long-term brand vision.
  • Leverage Technology: Use tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, and AI-driven marketing solutions to streamline campaigns and improve performance. Familiarity with sales enablement tactics like cold-calling support is a bonus.
  • Analyze and Optimize: Monitor KPIs, measure campaign ROI, and use analytics platforms like Google Analytics and Google Trends to inform strategy and optimize performance.
  • Guide Content Development: Partner with internal teams and external vendors to produce compelling marketing assets—white papers, case studies, blog posts, email templates, etc.


What You Bring

  • Experience: 7–10 years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in mid-market or healthcare-adjacent organizations.
  • Demand Gen Expertise: Strong track record of generating and nurturing leads across multi-channel campaigns in a mid-market environment. Bonus if you’ve marketed to office managers, compliance teams, or similar healthcare decision-makers.
  • Team Leadership: 3 years of experience managing small teams and collaborating across departments, especially sales. You’ll have direct reports in this role.
  • Marketing Skills: Proficiency in demand generation, ABM strategies, Google Ads, SEO, and CRM/automation platforms like HubSpot or Salesforce. Experience managing marketing budgets is a plus.
  • Customer Focus: Deep understanding of the B2B sales cycle and a passion for supporting top-line growth. You're data-driven and always optimizing based on performance.
  • Content & Creative Oversight: Ability to guide content strategy and oversee vendors, to elevate brand and campaign execution.
  • Agile Mindset: You’re comfortable wearing multiple hats in a lean, growth-oriented environment and thrive when given ownership.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master's degree a plus).


Preferred (Not Required)

  • Experience in or exposure to healthcare, particularly with multi-location service providers.
  • Understanding of compliance and healthcare regulations.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven marketing tools and A/B testing.
