The Senior Manager Marketing, Amazon is responsible for driving full-funnel connectivity between our haircare brands and the Amazon platform to accelerate business growth and drive cohesive and streamlined media, social, promotional, and creative strategies and processes. This role will report to the Executive Director, Online – Haircare Cluster to ensure Amazon strategy and plans tie back to the broader brands’ regional and global strategy but also follow Amazon best practices. Cross-functional collaboration with multiple and high level stakeholders – specifically, the VP of Amazon for ELC, EDs of Amazon Account Management and Amazon Performance Marketing for ELC, brand Amazon account lead, Amazon Demand Generation media planning team (including ELC’s digital advertising agency), Global ecommerce lead, global and regional brand marketing and creative teams, and demand planning teams - and leveraging insights and data to influence will be critical to ensure day-to-day actions and broader strategy are supported and plan delivered. This role will serve as the primary contact for all Amazon-related initiatives, gathering insights from cross-functional teams, crafting narratives, and coordinating necessary work to support the Amazon needs.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $99,400.00 to $163,800.00. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. Key Skillsets And Responsibilities
- Leadership and Agility – Share new insights and learnings from the Amazon platform in a digestible and fast format to inform Amazon, online, and broader brand strategies. Advocate for the unique needs of the platform and account with regional and global leadership.
- Strategic Planning – Co-create integrated marketing strategies and action plans that support the global brands’ vision and align with global and regional brand objectives.
- Brand Positioning - Ensure consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints to enhance brand equity and drive customer recruitment and retention.
- Creative Management – Advocate for digital and Amazon asset creation for Brand Stores, Product Detail Pages, and advertising campaigns; ensure Amazon-specific adaptations to creative are aligned with global priorities.
- Liaison for Assortment & Promotion – Serve as the key link between the hair brands and Amazon strategy, ensuring assortment proposals and promotional plans align with the broader commercial objectives. Collaborate closely to integrate retailer-specific opportunities while maintaining brand integrity.
- Media Strategy Collaboration and Execution – Partner with the media teams to ensure campaign priorities, alignment with Amazon objectives, and connectivity between upper and lower funnel activations.
- Budget Input – Partner with the Amazon Performance Marketing team to maximize the lower-funnel budget based on brand strategy insights and analytics, ensuring efficient of resources to maximize marketing ROIs.
- Partnerships and PR – Build strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, influencers, and media to amplify the brands’ presence.
- Retailer.com Optimization & Best Practices – Partner with Retailer.com teams to implement best practices for PDP optimization, leveraging current trends, content strategies, and media insights to enhance visibility, conversion, and overall performance.
- Collaboration – Work closely with the multiple partners across multiple regional and global account, marketing, creative, and ecommerce teams that support the brands to maximize and efficiently use resources while also pushing for the unique platform needs of Amazon.
- 6 years of blended brand and customer account management experience, preferably in beauty and ecommerce
- Proven track record of successful in building successful brand and customer marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Strong understanding and developed skillset in digital marketing and ecommerce.
- Excellence in communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Specifically, ability to influence multiple levels within the organization to gain support.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment to accomplish multiple projects at one time.
